It’s Summer, and the WOW family has been hard at work to make sure you werq.
Since Movement, Minx has played in Brooklyn, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, and of course Detroit, and she’s getting ready to travel overseas to France and Germany later on this month. In June, Women On Wax Recordings released some new deepness, “Paris to 313,” featuring the voice of Arnaud Paris, and there are some collaborations in the works to keep things moving.
Finally, after a lot of brainstorming, the WOW family will be launching a new initiative to help preserve Detroit’s electronic music history– something near and dear to our hearts. We will be profiling not only some of the city’s biggest names, but some lesser-known figures who have nonetheless made their impression on our city, so that future generations will know their history.
